Operations or Departmental Manager
Highfield Assessment currently provides end-point assessment services for both the ST0385/IfATE v1.1/AP02 and ST0385/IfATE v1.2/AP04 versions of this standard. Full details are provided below on our supporting resources available for each version.
- Apprentices who started their apprenticeship on or after 21 October 2020 will be assessed against ST0385/IfATE v1.2/AP04.
- Apprentices who started their apprenticeship before 21 October 2020 will be assessed against ST0385/IfATE v1.1/AP02 unless the provider, employer or apprentice agree to move to ST0385/IfATE v1.2/AP04.
Dispensation Information - ST0385/IfATE v1.2/AP04
A temporary dispensation has been applied to the ST0385 version 1.2 end-point assessment plan for this apprenticeship. The dispensation will last from 21 December 2023 to 31 August 2024, but may be withdrawn if the assessment plan is revised sooner or the dispensation is no longer necessary.
Please note that this dispensation applies to agreed cohorts only.
The key changes are:
- apprentices made redundant at gateway will be allowed to use on-programme project-based evidence to complete their project proposal
- skills 1.2, 2.1, 2.2 and 3.1 will be assessed via the questioning component of the assessment
