Social Care Apprenticeship Standards

It’s estimated that there are over 1.6 million people employed in the social care sector in England. However, it’s thought nearly half of care workers leave their roles within a year. While there are many factors, lack of training is one of the main ones.

Training is a proven way of helping with staff recruitment and retention, as well providing employees with the skills and confidence to carry out their duties safely. As a result, employers in the social care sector are increasingly turning to apprenticeships.

Highfield Assessment provides end-point assessment for social care apprentices.
