What you need to know about the Highfield Level 3 End-Point Assessment for Lead Adult Care Worker
Who is this Standard for?
This apprenticeship is for individuals working within an adult care environment. Lead Adult Care Workers are expected to exercise judgement and take appropriate action to support individuals to maintain their independence, dignity and control. Lead Adult Care Workers will in some circumstances have delegated responsibility for the standard of care provided and may supervise the work of other care workers. Lead Adult Care Workers may work in residential or nursing homes, domiciliary care, day centres or some clinical healthcare settings. As well as covering Lead Adult Care Workers this standard also covers Lead Personal Assistants.
Programme structure
This is a level 3 apprenticeship standard that has a minimum duration of 12 months. Apprentices will be placed in a lead adult care role and supported by a tutor to achieve the Lead Adult Care Worker standards, as well as Level 2 maths and English qualifications
Assessment Plan
Apprentices who started their apprenticeship on or after 05/02/2018 will be assessed against ST0006/AP01.

Qualification - We have developed the Highfield Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (RQF) that maps directly to the standard.
