What you need to know about the Highfield Level 3 End-Point Assessment forLearning Mentor
Who is this Standard for?
Learning mentors support learners of all ages, and all levels, to develop within a new work role. These learners may be, for example, apprentices, trainees or new recruits (ranging from young entrants, to new CEOs) in the workplace, or in any vocational learning environment. They support the development of learners’ knowledge, skills and behaviours, throughout their programme, particularly in applying theoretical learning in practical work environments (and usually on a one-to-one, or small group, basis), and give practical, technical and/or pastoral support and guidance.
This is a level 3 apprenticeship standard that has a typical duration of 12 months. Apprentices will be placed in a suitable role and supported by a tutor to achieve the standards, Level 2 maths, English and ICT qualifications as well as a Levle 1 Safeguarding qualification.
Apprentices who started their apprenticeship on or after 29/01/2019 will be assessed against ST0148/AP01
