What you need to know about the Highfield Level 2 End-Point Assessment for Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) Driver
Highfield are ready and able to deliver end-point assessment for the Large Good Vehicle (LGV) Driver standard. Readiness is defined as having necessary administrative and systems infrastructure and associated internal quality assurance policies and procedures to support Highfield’s end-to-end end-point assessment service.
Who is this Standard for?
This apprenticeship is for individuals working as an LGV Driver. As an apprentice, your role will depend on your employer. Amongst other aspects, you will be: preparing your vehicle; planning delivery’s; driving safely and efficiently; safely using equipment and processing returned goods.
Programme structure
This is a level 2 apprenticeship standard that has a minimum duration of 12 months.
Assessment Plan
Apprentices who started their apprenticeship on or after 30/05/2017 will be assessed against ST0257/AP03.
Endpoint assessment methods
· Short answer question and scenario based test
· Practical assessment
Qualification
We have developed the Highfield Level 2 Certificate for Drivers of Large Goods Vehicles (RQF) that maps directly to the standard. This has a total qualification time of 180 hours.
